The hipsters favourites have made their ‘new’ track Feminine Effects available for free download at rolling stone.Of Montreal will release their rarities compilation, Daughter of Cloud, on October 23rd via Polyvinyl/Joyful Noise.

“I wrote the song many years ago, and for a long time I was searching for the right girl to sing the lead vocals,” frontman Kevin Barnes told Rolling Stone, who premiered the track. “I tried a bunch of different people before I discovered Rebecca Cash. She helped me realize the old school honky tonk vibe I was envisioning.”

Daughter of the Cloud comprises 17 rarities/unreleased songs culled from 2007-2012.

Bat For Lashes::: All your Gold

All Your Gold, the new single taken from Bat For Lashes’ upcoming album The Haunted Man

The song is the third by the singer, whose real name is Natasha Khan, to be taken from her new album ‘The Haunted Man’ and is the second track to be released from the forthcoming record. She previously made ‘Laura’ and ‘Marilyn’ available online.

The video is shot in black and white and shows Khan dancing on a windswept beach, slowly making her way through jagged cliffs and into dark, gloomy caves. The single the promo is for, ‘All Your Gold’, is released on October 29.

 

 

 

 

‘The Haunted Man’ will be released on October 15 via Parlophone Records.She will play a total of 12 shows across the UK in late October and early November.
