The line-up for INDIE13 continues to grow with a host of new artists added to the bill. First up is another act courtesy of Sargent House, as Sacremento born Chelsea Wolfe joins an already strong line-up at this year’s festival. Known for her brand of drone-metal-folk, Chelsea Wolfe recently sold out her Irish debut at The Sugar Club, Dublin.
Also joining the bill and with a new album under their belts are ENEMIES, who have just returned from a three week tour of Europe. Adding to the electro side of INDIE13 are The Dead Prezidents. In less than a year, the Dead Prezidents energetic live show has seen them support 2manydjs, Steve Aoki and Wolfgang Gartner so you know what to expect from these guys!
Also joining the INDIE13 bill this week are Halves, Generic People, The Hard Ground, Miracle Bell, Swords, Crayon Set and Bouts.
Tickets are currently on sale starting at just €79 with more announcements over the coming weeks.

“Kilkenny Roots Festival isn’t about the big moment. It’s about stumbling around town between deep drafts of local brew Smithwicks, hearing a bluegrass or rockabilly or folk or jug band seeping through the doorways of minuscule bars. It’s about discovery of bands like John Blek & The Rats” MOJO
“Not since BOB LOG III’s Clonakilty Guitar Fest debut have a band created such a feverish buzz of anticipation!!. . . get ready for some insanely debaucherous footstompin’ lunacy” De Barras.ie

Keeping faith with our own great stout tradition and the celebrating the choice of stouts we have on offer in Cork, MURPHY’S are inviting other Irish Craft Stouts to pour as part of the Festival at the Breamish and Crawford site. MURPHY’S will also be offering their own specially commissioned stout, uniquely brewed for the occasion by the MURPHY’S brewing team. Customers will also get a chance to sample a variety of Cork and national stouts at a specially commissioned sampling experience at the Beamish and Crawford site and in participating pubs.
In addition this year MURPHY’S will be creating the Stout Fest Music Trail around our great Cork pubs. Customers of pubs throughout the city will be able to try our stout sampling experience and compare some superb Irish stouts with their friends.
Stout Fest 2013 opens on Friday May 31 at 7 PM with a performance from a songwriter whose rise to international fame over the last five years has been nothing short of meteoric – Seasick Steve.
The blues ‘n’ country troubadour headlines our MURPHY’S 12 BAR BLUES evening, which will also see Grant Hart, formerly of US alt-rock legends Hüsker Dü, play songs from his brand new album.
