The Picnic has finished, the Pav has shut it’s doors and and the summer is over, boo.
If that hasnt left you seriously depressed and in need of a musical pick me up then look no further than Coughlans Live Music Festival 14. Picking up from last years wonderful effort the Douglas street venue is putting a six-day music spree which runs from the 24th to the 29th of September.
Amongst those featuring are Cork’s own Anna Mitchell who will be launching her debut E.P ‘Fall like that’. Local leeside legend Hank Wedel is in attendance and is launching a new single.
The Main draw of the festival line up include the irrepressible Jerry Fish and Cork’s nattive son, Mick Flannery, whose show on Saturday the 27th is a sell out. Waterford’s Katie Kim also joins the bill in a double headline show with Adrian Crowley.
There are a number of free performances throughout the festival including The Hot Sprockets, R.S.A.G, Booka Brass Band and the always wonderful John Blek & the Rats.
