Corkonian singer songwriter Anna Mitchell follows up her excellent single release ‘Let’s Run away’ with a new collection of songs on her EP ‘Fall Like That’. Anna combines a mix of Americana and folk on her new release ahead of her upcoming LP which is due to be released next January. Anyone who likes their folk/country tinged with sadness and honesty could do worse than check out the EP, the highlight of which for me is the titular track, a song steeped in melancholy and wrapped in a beautifully simple melody. Definitely one to watch.

Efterklang and Andreas Koefoed welcome you to host your own screening of The Ghost of Piramida.
The rules for Private-Public Screenings are very simple.
- The screenings need to have free entrance
- The screenings need to be public.
- The screenings need to have a minimum capacity of 5 people
- The screenings need to be verified by Efterklang & Andreas Koefoed and only screenings that are featured on http://www.theghostofpiramida.com are official Private-Public Screenings
In other words as long as entrance is free and it is an open event (as capacity permits) the Private-Public Screenings can take place in your home, at a café, in a school auditorium or any place you can think of.
The Private-Public Screenings will run for 6 weeks – February 8th to March 24th 2013. The screenings are private because they are hosted by private people and public because the screenings are official and open to anyone – hence the namePrivate-Public Screenings.
The Private-Public Screening project was invented and developed in 2011 by Efterklang and Vincent Moon for their collaborative film An Island. The Private-Public Screenings is an attempt at creating a free and inspiring distribution method for film.
